Welcome to the Three Days of Rain page!
Directed by Rich Rubin
Robert Ian Cutler
Act I: 1995. A brother and sister, Walker and Nan (along with their old friend Pip), gather to hear the reading of their father's will. Their father--in partnership with Pip's father--was a world famous architect, creator of some of the 20th century's best-known buildings. Along the way, they discover a journal kept by Walker/Nan's father and begin to piece together the story of their parents' relationships and work.
Act II: 1960. The three actors play their parents at the same age. As the relationships develop and events unfold, we come to discover just how much truth--or lack thereof--lies behind their children's views of them.
It's a fascinating tale of parents and children, art and love, expectations and reality, alternately hilarious and touching, told with Richard Greenberg's signature humor.
We're thrilled to bring you this play by the author of last year's April show, "Eastern Standard."
